The day that works
Ciutadella with rowboats and the cascade in the morning, early lunch and beach or pool in the afternoon, chocolate con porras as the snack. The Tibidabo amusement park rides as the ace up the sleeve.
Museums that don't bore
CosmoCaixa with its flooded forest holds an entire morning; the port aquarium and the Ciutadella zoo complete the repertoire for rain or extreme heat days.
Stroller logistics
The metro has lifts at nearly all the big stations and buses take folded strollers. Barcelona is flat: from the Eixample to the sea it's all downhill on foot, stroller included.
